How To Measure Windows
1. Measure the Visible Glass Area
Use a tape measure to record the width and height of just the glass part of the window (not the frame).
Tip: Round up to the nearest inch.
Example:
Width: 36 inches
Height: 48 inches
2. Count Each Window
Write down how many windows you need tinted. If some are different sizes, group them.
📝 Example:
- 3 windows at 36″ x 48″
- 2 windows at 60″ x 72″
3. Measure from bottom of frame to the floor for distance of ladder needed
If windows are up high or on a second story, please measure from the bottom of the window frame to the floor — so we know what ladder height to bring.
4. Note Any Special Shapes
If you have arched, circular, or unusually shaped windows, just take your best estimate — or snap a photo and upload it in the quote form.
